It all started back in 2014, when the co-founders of Newsroom Communication Ltd were faced with a challenge for a big event: Finding a suitable tool to aggregate content from social media and to publish it alongside own digital content in a fast and easy manner both on websites and on social media.

That was the moment when the idea of «Storyshaker» evolved. With just a few Swiss francs in the pocket, the students started to build a prototype with the simple goal of making the job of a person in charge of digital publishing much easier. Time is very precious and nobody wants to waste it by working with a time-consuming CMS.

What started with a prototype back in winter 2014 is now a well-established product with over 100’000 monthly users and a big team of developers, support heroes and account managers both in Switzerland and abroad. Storyshaker is part of Newsroom Communication Ltd, a Bern based company with 17 employees offering a wide range of services for corporate newsrooms and realtime digital communication at events and conferences. The credo remains the same: A tool by communicators for communicators.
